Analysis of the Production Process of Plastic Film

The production of plastic film is a complex process that integrates chemistry, physics, and mechanical technology, which begins with the careful selection of raw materials. Firstly, we choose high-quality resins as the basic raw materials, which have excellent plasticity and stability, and are the key to the performance of plastic films. Based on product characteristics and market demand, we will also add appropriate amounts of plasticizers, stabilizers, antioxidants and other additives to further improve the performance indicators of plastic films.

Next, the raw materials enter the mixing and melting stage. At this stage, the raw materials and additives are thoroughly mixed in the high-speed mixer to ensure that each raw material can obtain the same additive ratio. Subsequently, the mixture is fed into a melt extruder and heated to a molten state under high temperature and pressure, forming a melt with a certain viscosity and fluidity.

The melt then enters the extrusion molding stage, which is a key step in plastic film forming. The melt is extruded into continuous sheets through the die of the extruder, and the shape and size of the die determine the width and thickness of the plastic film. During the extrusion process, the uniformity and stability of the plastic film can be ensured by precisely controlling parameters such as extrusion speed, temperature, and pressure.

The extruded plastic film immediately enters the cooling and curing stage. In the cooling device, the plastic film rapidly cools down, and the molecular chains are fixed, thereby maintaining the stability of its shape and size. At the same time, the cooling process also helps to improve the transparency and glossiness of the plastic film, making its appearance more beautiful.

The cooled and solidified plastic film then enters the traction and cutting process. At this stage, the plastic film is continuously pulled forward and cut according to a predetermined length or weight to form a finished film roll with certain specifications. The control of traction speed and cutting accuracy is of great significance for ensuring the accuracy of product dimensions and reducing waste generation.

Finally, the finished plastic film needs to undergo strict quality inspection. We use advanced testing equipment and methods to comprehensively test the performance indicators such as thickness, width, tensile strength, tear strength, and light transmittance of plastic films, ensuring that each roll of plastic film can meet or exceed the standards required by customers. The plastic film that has passed the quality inspection will be packaged and stored, ready to be sent to various parts of the country and even global markets.
